The type and level of support will depend on individual business need. Examples include recruitment, skills audits, workforce development, training and upskilling, research and development, business consultancy, graduate recruitment or access to apprentices at all levels.
Businesses will be assigned with a dedicated skills adviser who will discuss and explore all options that are available so that a skills plan can be produced. This will provide access to a customised package of support from an extensive network of local colleges, training providers and universities as well as services available from the local authority, local enterprise partnership and Jobcentre Plus.
